Emafini Mountain Lodge is a rugged, faith-driven residential treatment center for men who are done with halfway measures and ready for real transformation.
Our lodge sits on mountain land in Floyd, Virginia — a place where the noise of the world falls away and the work of becoming a man begins.
We believe recovery is not just about getting sober. It's about becoming the man God designed you to be: strong, free, disciplined, and whole.

God in the mountains
Emafini is a Swazi word — spoken in the mountains of Swaziland, Africa — meaning "God in the mountains" or "God in the clouds."
Our founder spent a year at 2,450 feet elevation in the Swazi highlands, building a recovery program and crying out to God in the wilderness. Years later, he arrived at a mountain property in Floyd, Virginia — at exactly 2,450 feet elevation.
He didn't choose the name. The name chose him.
Emafini Mountain Lodge is built on that story — that God meets men in the mountains. That altitude changes perspective. That the man you're becoming is waiting for you on higher ground.
